Marguarite cooks delicious inexpensive food. We first visited Marguarites over 17 years ago. The food on our visit this year did not disappoint. Everything is freshly cooked to perfection. It is the best place to eat in Castara - real Tobagoan cooking

Delicious fresh seafood just off the beach and reasonably priced! Was also reliably open most nights which is great in the off season!

This was a pleasant surprise. Friendly service and excellent food. Shrimps in coco and garlic/chili sauce was excellent. Lamb stew also tasteful and tender. Bathroom very clean. Good value for money. We will comeback.

We tried this place for dinner just down the hill from our accommodation. We had fresh locally caught fish in coconut sauce, with vegetable and rice. The food was hearty and wholesome, as well as tasty and delicious. A table over had a huge lobster, that they either reserved or brought in themselves to had over for cooking - so this is also another unique and alternative option for dinner. We didn't try it, I am allergic to shellfish! We liked it so much that we went for breakfast here as well. There is a choice eggs, pancakes, hot oats and the usual tropical fruits. The option to try and buy some locally produced chocolate as well.
